carsales has announced its 2019 Best Used Car Awards following a comprehensive judging process from which brand Mazda emerged the victor of key categories.
Using a combination of expert evaluation, data from Redbook.com.au and consumer sentiment, carsales judges selected Australia’s best used cars from hundreds of vehicles available in the local marketplace.
Mazda dominated, winning four out of 10 categories: small passenger car, medium passenger car, medium SUV and sports car.
Holden, Hyundai, Land Rover, Mercedes and Toyota were also in the winning mix.
All vehicles sold new in Australia during 2013 were eligible for consideration in this year’s judging, provided they were fitted with electronic stability control in the case of passenger cars.
